We are pleased to announce the IX International Conference on Audiovisual Translation, hosted by the Universitat de València and organised by the CiTrans research group. The event will take place on 29-30 November 2026 in the Manuel Sanchis Guarner Conference Hall (ground floor, entrance through the garden) of the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication (UV).
As in previous years, it is our pleasure to once again convene national and international researchers, industry professionals and the academic community to engage in a shared reflection on the challenges, developments and transformations currently shaping the field of audiovisual translation. We will explore its different dimensions, such as subtitling, dubbing, localisation, drama translation or audio description.

This event is organised by the CiTrans research group with the support of Conselleria de Educación, Cultura, Universidades y Empleo (Generalitat Valenciana), and in collaboration with the Department of English and German Philology, the Department of Language Theory and Communication Sciences, the Interuniversity Institute of Applied Modern Languages of the Valencian Community (IULMA) and the Xarxa de traductors i intèrprets de la Comunitat Valenciana.
